Subcontractors and specialist service providers:We may share personal data with Subcontractors engaged to provide specialist services on our behalf, including, but not limited to, Career and employability support (e.g., CV and cover letter review, mentoring, or skills assessment services).
This applies to Both learners and educators when they participate in these services.
Any subcontractor receiving personal data is required to process it securely, in accordance with applicable Data protection laws, and only for the purpose of delivering the requested service.
We do not allow subcontractors to use this information for Unrelated purposes or to share it with Other third parties without your consent.
Third parties with your consent: Where you have given explicit consent, InatUni may share your personal data with third parties, including educational institutions, training providers, or other relevant organisations, who may contact you regarding educational opportunities, professional development, or courses in which you have expressed interest.

progress, completion, or participation metrics, and
comments, discussion posts, teaching contributions, or other course-related interactions, may be shared with the relevant Course Provider.
Any data shared for research purposes will be handled in line with:
applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018; and
Inatuni ltd’s research ethics and data governance standards, which impose clear limitations on how Course Providers may access, analyse, and use such data.
Where reasonably practicable, data used for research purposes will be Aggregated, anonymised, or pseudonymised, and will be used solely to support educational research, improve learning design, enhance teaching and learner experience, and evaluate educational outcomes.
Course Providers are not permitted to use this data for marketing or unrelated commercial purposes unless separate, explicit consent has been obtained.
Interest in further courses: After you register with InatUni, we and our Course Providers may use your personal data to assess interest in:

follow-on programmes, or
further study opportunities offered by the same academic or training provider.

Neither learners nor educators will Ever be required to provide personal data on a third-party website as a condition of:
accessing or continuing a course on the InatUni platform;
completing learning activities or assessments;
receiving marks, feedback, certificates, or other forms of recognition; or
participating in teaching, moderation, or course delivery activities.
Choosing not to engage with or provide information to third-party websites will Not negatively affect a learner’s course progress or results, nor an educator’s ability to deliver, support, or assess a course on InatUni.
Course provider responsibility: Where Course Providers act as independent data controllers for example, when awarding academic credit, issuing qualifications, or conducting their own academic or educational research they are independently responsible for complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
InatUni requires all Course Providers to process learner and educator personal data responsibly, lawfully, and securely, and in accordance with their contractual obligations to InatUni and applicable legal requirements. Course Providers’ processing of personal data will also be subject to their own privacy policies, which learners and educators are encouraged to review where applicable.
6. Legal basis for processing your information
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, InatUni Ltd must have a lawful basis for collecting and using personal data.
